Unsafe Left Turn in Intersection – $101,000

Our client was driving through an intersection on a green light when the defendant – who was headed in the opposite direction – attempted an unsafe left turn in front of her, causing a collision. She suffered a broken wrist and injury to her neck and lower back. She was seen at the emergency room and urgent care on at least 3 different occasions due to her pain levels and complications with her healing wrist. She completed chiropractic treatment for her neck and back, and physical therapy for her wrist. Unfortunately – despite complying with the recommended treatment course, her pain in her wrist persists. Though treatment continues, we submitted a demand to the at fault carrier and secured the policy limits. We then submitted a demand to her own insurance carrier under her underinsured motorist coverage and secured the policy limits under that policy as well. We obtained a combined settlement of $101,000 for her injuries. At closing, our client was grateful for our help and support.
